Factomania, ny serie på BBC Entertainment
Vad händer om du tar en del Mythbusters och en del Ripley’s Believe It or Not och blandar det och gör en tävling av det? Du kommer nog väldigt nära BBC’s nya tvprogram Factomania. Vi har kollat första avsnittet och jag ska vara ärlig att jag var lite skeptisk till “ännu en Mythbusters-kopia” men Factomania är sitt egna program som definitivt är i samma genre men som helt klart kör sitt egna race. Premiären för första avsnittet är onsdag 14 maj kl. 21.00 – exklusivt i Norden i BBC Entertainment. Såhär skriver BBC själva om serien:

Hosts Dom Byrne (Mr Curious), Fran Scott (Bold Experimentalist) and Greg Foot (Daredevil Scientist) get three chances to win. They can award each other’s stories up to 100 points for packing in maximum facts… and maximum fun!
So, the fact that flour mills blow-up makes Greg decide to find the most explosive ingredient in his kitchen – and make the biggest dust explosion on TV. The fact that just 1 in 10 Roman gladiators survived inspires Dom’s animated guide to making it as a gladiator. And Fran uses the knowledge that tea tastes terrible on a plane to devise a demo to prove you can boil water when it’s cold.
Factomania is a fast-paced blend of facts, fun, banter, animation, experiments – and competition.
